2nd International Forum on Gender and Cybersecurity

 Organized jointly by the Argentine Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Modernization and the Organization of American States, the 2nd International Forum on Gender and Cybersecurity was opened today and will be held through 30 May at the Palacio San Martín.

The opening speech was delivered by the Deputy Foreign Minister, Daniel Raimondi, and the Minister of Modernization, Andrés Ibarra.

The Forum is aimed at experts and students from Latin America and the Caribbean. Its purpose is to promote the exchange of information and the development of knowledge on gender and cybersecurity with a special focus on the region.

The issues to be addressed at this second meeting of the Forum -the first one was held last year in Leon, Spain- will include the current situation and gender issues both at the national and international levels regarding the labour sector of cybersecurity and gender-based violence in the digital realm.
