The 2nd Meeting on Culture, Tourism and Sustainable Development of the Cultural Cities Network of the Forum for East Asia-Latin America Cooperation (FEALAC) will take place on 21-22 August 2018 in the city of San Salvador de Jujuy. The event has been declared of national and provincial public interest and is organized by the Municipality of San Salvador de Jujuy, with the support of the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
Among other activities, during the event mayors and other municipal authorities from both regions will share their best practices in the field of public policies in relation to three main issues: culture, tourism and sustainable development.
The 1st Meeting of FEALAC's Network of Cultural Cities took place on 28-30 April 2016 in Hue, Vietnam, where the city of San Salvador de Jujuy was elected to host the upcoming meeting.
Governor Gerardo Morales, Mayor Raúl Jorge and the General Director for Cultural Affairs of the Foreign Minister, Ambassador Sergio Baur, will open the event, which will be attended -among others- by ambassadors and representatives of the accredited Diplomatic Corps of the other 35 countries which -together with Argentina- are members of FEALAC and by representatives of the Argentine Committee for the Asia-Pacific region (CONAPAC).
