24 years after the bombing of the Argentine Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA) which left 85 dead and hundreds injured, the Argentine Government reiterates its strong commitment to the fight against impunity and the search for truth and justice.

Investigations to find out the truth about the AMIA bombing are a cause embraced by the whole Argentine people, who must therefore spare no efforts to shed light on the bombing and prosecute those responsible.

Thus, Argentina once again strongly condemns terrorism and violence in all of its forms and ratifies this position in multilateral and regional contexts, fora and mechanisms through the Foreign Ministry and Argentine representations.

The Government and the people of Argentina firmly believe that those who promote terror will not triumph because we will never surrender to oblivion. Argentina will always work to fight and eradicate the scourge of terrorism and radical extremism, within the context of international law and respect for human rights.
