The Argentine Government continues to follow with concern the delicate situation that the Spanish people is going through and the declaration of independence passed by the Parliament of Catalonia, which the Spanish Government has declared illegal.

Argentina renews its confidence in the ability of the Spanish Government and of the Spanish Nation as a whole, to ensure that legality and constitutional order can be re-established through dialogue, guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of all its citizens, as well as the unity and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Spain.
