The Argentine Republic condemns the terrorist attack perpetrated today at a mosque located north of the Sinai Peninsula, Arab Republic of Egypt, which claimed hundreds of lives and left many injured.

The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences to the Government and people of Egypt as well as to the families of the victims, and hopes for the recovery of those injured.

The Argentine Republic reaffirms its respect for human life and its staunch rejection of terrorism, as well as its willingness to assist in its eradication, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
