The Argentine Government strongly condemns the attack perpetrated on 27 January in Kabul, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, which left over a hundred people dead and more than 200 injured, according to preliminary figures.

 The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Afghanistan, as well as to the families of the victims, and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.

 The Argentine Government reaffirms its respect for life and its staunch rejection of terrorism, as well as its willingness to guarantee international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
