Argentina strongly condemns attacks in Indonesia

The Argentine Government strongly condemns the terrorist attacks perpetrated on 13 May on Christian churches in the city of Surabaya, Republic of Indonesia, which killed 13 people and left over 41 injured, according to preliminary estimates.

The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Indonesia, as well as to the families of the victims, and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.

The Argentine Government once again strongly condemns terrorism in all of its forms, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights, and believes that terrorist acts, such as those perpetrated in Indonesia, pose a threat to international peace and security, as well as to human dignity.
