The Argentine Government expresses its regret and condolences to the Government and people of Italy over the people that were killed and injured as a consequence of the collapse of the Morandi Bridge in Genoa.

Genoa is a city very dear to Argentine hearts since it was from its port that thousands of people set sail for our country.

Argentina stands with the victims' families and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.
