The Ministry of Foreign Affairs regrets to inform the death today of a group of Argentine citizens as a result of the New York attack. The Argentine Consulate in New York is currently working with the local authorities to identify the victims.

The Government of the Argentine Republic is deeply shocked by the death of the Argentine citizens and is working to provide the families and friends of the victims with support.

The Argentine Republic once again strongly condemns terrorist acts and violence in all of their forms and reiterates the need to step up the fight against this scourge.
