The Argentine Government expresses its regret and condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Chile following the deaths caused by the accident of the Chilean Air Force Hércules C-130 aircraft, which carried 38 passengers from Punta Arenas to base President Frei in Antartica.

Argentina expresses its solidarity with the Government and people of Chile during this difficult time, and reiterates the availability of its logistical, aerial and naval resources in order to cooperate in the aircraft search and rescue efforts.
