In view of the deadly terrorist attack perpetrated yesterday in the city of Nice, France, which tragically killed several dozen people and injured many others, Argentina strongly condemns this expression of violence.

The Argentine Government conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of France, especially to those injured and to the victims’ families.

Argentina reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and to ensure international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
