The Argentine Republic vigorously condemns the terrorist attacks on Coptic churches in the Egyptian cities of Tanta and Alexandria, which left more than 40 dead and almost a hundred wounded.

The Argentine Government conveys to the families of the victims, as well as to the Government and people of Egypt, its sincerest condolences and solidarity.

Argentina reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and to preserve international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
