The Argentine Foreign Ministry expresses its satisfaction with the agreement signed on 12 November in Havana, to put an end to the armed conflict in Colombia, hoping that the effort made by the negotiators of the Colombian Government and the FARC will smooth the path for permanent peace which the Colombian people yearns for and deserves.

The Argentine Government reiterates its firm commitment to strongly support Colombia in the task of building peace to achieve greater prosperity and union in that sister nation and all throughout the region.
