Argentina observes with concern the enactment by the Israeli Parliament of the Regularization Law on 6 February, which legalizes the construction of settlements in the occupied West Bank.

The Argentine Republic joins the international community in considering that such Law is contrary to International Law and to repeated United Nations declarations, including by the Security Council, and that its implementation would hinder the possibility of attaining a just and lasting peace, based on the two-state solution, both living side by side in peace and security within internationally recognized borders.
