The Argentine Republic condemns the gruesome attack perpetrated today at the Christmas Market in the city of Berlin, which has left several people dead.

The Argentine Government offers its condolences and solidarity to the Government and the People of Germany, as well as to the victims’ families, and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.

The Argentine Government reaffirms its willingness to preserve international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
