The Argentine Republic condemns the terrorist attack of 8 January in Jerusalem, a holy city for the three major monotheistic religions, which killed and injured many people.

The Argentine Government conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Israel, as well as to the relatives of the victims, and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.

Argentina reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and to preserve international peace and security, within the framework of international law, respect for human rights, and international humanitarian law.
