The Argentine Government condemns the terrorist attack perpetrated on 16 September in a mosque in Butmaina, in the northwest of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which has left a tragic toll of several dead and injured.

The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Pakistani Government and people and to the victims' families.

The Argentine Government reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and to ensure international peace and security within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
