The Argentine Government condemns the suicide attack of 16 February on the Shrine of Lal Shanbaz Qalandar, in the city of Sehwan, province of Sindhi, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which killed 73 people and left more than 250 injured, according to preliminary figures.

The Argentine Republic conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims, and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.

The Argentine Government reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and to ensure international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
