The Argentine Republic strongly condemns the attack perpetrated today in Balad, Iraq, which left a tragic toll of at least 25 dead and many injured.

The Argentine Government conveys its condolences and solidarity to the Iraqi Government and people, as well as to the victims’ families.

Argentina reaffirms its intention to intensify the fight against terrorism and ensure international peace and security, within the framework of international law and respect for human rights.
