The Argentine Government extends its deepest condolences and expresses its solidarity to the Government and the people of Peru over the consequences of the natural disaster that has struck most of their country, including its capital city, Lima, with floods and mudslides that have left several deaths, evacuees, and substantial property and environmental damage.

As well as offering its heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Argentine Government conveys to Peruvian authorities its genuine willingness to collaborate in mitigating the effects of this tragedy.
