Mr. Chair, the Delegation of Argentina considers that the call for a Fourth Special Session of the General Assembly devoted to Disarmament must be carefully studied.

Before deciding such call and once studied with detail the financial implications of that meeting, it would be convenient to assure the proper preparation providing to it real content in order to avoid passed experiences.

The agenda should ensure a balance between nuclear disarmament issues and conventional disarmament.

Finally, and regarding to the date for the celebration of a fourth special meeting devoted to disarmament we should take into account the calendar of meetings on disarmament to avoid possible overlap in the treatment of topics.
