Today in New York, within the framework of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly, Foreign Minister Faurie met with his counterpart from the Republic of Finland, Timo Soini, with whom he discussed the possibility of strengthening bilateral relations, especially in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, science and technology.

The Foreign Ministers specifically addressed the contributions that Finland can make in education matters during the Argentine G20 Presidency.

Faurie expressed that Argentina wishes to strengthen its trade ties with Finland, by balancing and diversifying bilateral exchange, and informed Soini of the opportunities for Finnish companies to invest in Argentina.
