The Argentine Government expresses its regret and condolences to the Government and people of Iraq following the sinking of the ferry carrying more than one hundred passengers in the Tigris river in Mosul, which left many dead and injured, including many women and children.

Argentina stands with the victims' families and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.
