The Argentine government conveys its condolences to the Government and people of the Republic of Chile over the tragic loss of lives caused by the heavy rains and mudslides across various northern regions of the country.

Argentina also stands with the victims' families and hopes for the recovery of the injured and for a safe return to their homes of those affected by the natural disaster.
