The Argentine Government conveys its condolences to the Governments and peoples of Spain and Portugal in the face of the fires that have been raging through the region since last weekend, which have claimed several lives and left many injured, in addition to thousands of evacuees and substantial material losses.

Argentina also expresses its solidarity to the victims' families and the evacuees and hopes for a speedy recovery of those injured.
